Featuring founding member Steve Boone
The Lovin' Spoonful, a beloved ’60s band, created timeless hits with a unique blend of jug band, folk, country, blues and rock ‘n’ roll. Emerging from the vibrant Greenwich Village music scene, their "good time music" influenced legends like The Kinks, Cream and the Grateful Dead.
Led by John Sebastian, with Steve Boone, Joe Butler, and Zal Yanovsky, they stormed the charts with hits like "Do You Believe in Magic," "Daydream" and "Summer in the City." Their charm and catchy tunes earned them the title "America's answer to the Beatles," with Paul McCartney citing "Daydream" as an inspiration for "Good Day Sunshine."
Steve Boone, a founding member of The Lovin' Spoonful, continues to tour and celebrate the band’s extensive catalog of hits, delighting both longtime fans and new listeners. Join us for a sentimental voyage with one of the ’60s' most beloved groups, now honored in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame!
